FELLOWSHIP

As part of the Yerevan International Book Festival, Armenia is proud to launch, for the first time, a Fellowship Program for Publishers.
 

The goal of the program is to enhance the international visibility of Armenian literature by creating a sustainable platform for cooperation between Armenian and foreign publishers, as well as literary agencies.
 

We are excited to invite five international publishers from around the world to Armenia for a three-day fully funded program that includes professional meetings, cultural experiences, and one-on-one networking sessions.

 

What to Expect
 

• Visits to local publishing houses and literary agencies

• Curated matchmaking sessions with Armenian publishers during the Yerevan International Book Festival

• Cultural program showcasing Armenia’s literary and artistic heritage

 

Participation Criteria
 

Selected international publishers are expected to:

• Express genuine interest in Armenian authors and titles

• Commit to acquiring the rights to at least one Armenian literary work during the visit

• Apply to the “Armenian Literature in Translation” grant program for funding translation and publication.
   

Travel & Accommodation
 

The Fellowship covers:

• Round-trip airfare (The reimbursement will be up to 400 EUR. The participants will buy their own tickets, and within 30 days after the fellowship program, up to 400 EUR of the  airfare ticket will be reimbursed).

• Accommodation for 3 nights in Yerevan.

1) Willingness to travel to Armenia for 3 days
